Disclaimer
What the information on this site does and doesn’t cover: trademark screening, pricing, brokerage and LinkedIn ghostwriting. Last updated October 22, 2026.
1. General information only
Everything on this website, including the pages, case studies, blog posts and pricing, is general information about domain names, naming and LinkedIn writing. It is not legal, financial, investment, tax or trademark advice. Please get advice from a qualified professional before you make a decision that matters.
2. What “trademark-cleared” means
When I describe a domain as trademark-cleared, I mean that at the time of my review I searched public trademark records (such as the USPTO TESS database, and in some cases EUIPO) and found no conflicting mark. This is a screening step, not a legal opinion.
- Trademark rights differ by country, by industry and by the goods or services involved, and they change over time.
- A search of public records can miss unregistered or pending rights.
- Before you build a brand on any name, ask a trademark attorney in the countries where you will operate to confirm it is safe to use.
3. Prices, valuations and investment risk
- Prices are based on comparable sales data (for example from NameBio) and my own judgment. They are not a formal appraisal.
- Past sales don't guarantee what a domain will sell for in future. I make no promise that a domain will keep or increase its value or that you can resell it.
- Prices, availability and terms can change without notice. A domain shown as available may be sold, withdrawn or repriced before a deal is completed.
- Domain investing carries risk. Only spend what you can afford.
4. Brokerage and third parties
When I broker the purchase of a domain, I act as an intermediary. I can't promise that an owner will sell, or at what price. Domain transfers, escrow, marketplaces and payment services are provided by third parties with their own terms, and I'm not responsible for their actions or failures.
5. LinkedIn ghostwriting
- I don't promise followers, leads, sales or any specific result. Outcomes depend on many things outside my control.
- You approve every post before it goes live and remain responsible for what is published under your name, including that it is accurate and follows LinkedIn's rules and any laws that apply to you.
- Domain Decoded and I are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by LinkedIn Corporation.
6. Names and trademarks of others
LinkedIn, Google, Payoneer, Visa, Mastercard, GitHub and other names mentioned on this site belong to their owners. They appear only to describe how my services work, not to suggest any partnership.
7. Accuracy and links
I work to keep this site correct and up to date, but I can't promise it is free of errors or omissions. Links to other websites are provided for convenience. I don't control those sites and I'm not responsible for their content.
8. Limit of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, I'm not liable for any loss or damage that results from relying on information on this site or from using the services described here, except where the law doesn't allow that limit. Nothing in this disclaimer limits any right you have that cannot be limited by law.
